How to Print Labels for Catering and add a TIP at the POS

 

 

Step 1: Verify the order looks correct, then Post order without the tip into POS.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2: Select your order within ATO, then select Reprint labels (labels will be printed)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3: Next select Tender (Only after Catering is complete).

 

 

Step 4: At the next screen you will close the check by selecting Close Check

* Only the person obtaining the Tip should close the check!

 

 

Step 5:  Select the Manager Functions button and at the next screen select Adjust Tips

 

 

 

 

Step 6: Within the Adjust Tips screen now select MMCatering from the menus

 

 

Step 7: Select the order first, then add the TIP amount, and finally select Done

 

 

Step 8:  Go back to ATO, select the order then View Order details. Order will display the tip amount.

 

Finally, at the EOD, ALOHA will update the Tip within the Monkey Media system.

Important Note for set to PAID AT REGISTER orders:

 

 

Whether the order has a TIP in Monkey Media or customer tip at the store, the tip needs to be entered at the POS when processing the payment. Monkey Media does not transfer tips for orders set to Paid at Register.  Please follow the steps below:

 

 

 

Step 1: Verify the order is set to PAID AT REGISTER and has a TIP on it, then Post order.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2: Select your order within ATO, then select Reprint labels (labels will be printed)

* Notice that MM did not transfer the TIP amount set in Monkey Media.

 

 

Step 3: Next select Tender (Only after Catering is complete).

 

 

Step 4:  Select Manager Functions

 

 

 

Step 5: Select Catering

 

 

Step 6: Select Catering Payments

 

 

 

Step 7: Select the Payment method that customer will utilize to pay for the order.

Why are we using this? The reason is because this is the only option to process a Tip for set to Paid at Register orders, otherwise the tip will be lost.

 

 

 

Step 8: Add the TIP amount and payment information, then click OK

 

 

Step 9: System will close check with the tip on it. Verify all looks correct by accessing Order Details in ATO. (Order amount + tip amount).

 

 

 

 

 

Finally, at the EOD, ALOHA will update the Tip within the Monkey Media system
